Week 26-27 Pregnancy Update

How far along? 27 Weeks today! – The baby is the size of a cucumber and weighs approximately 2.2lbs!

Total weight gain:  Enough to cook a proper baby boy.

Bump Alert: FULL alert!

27 Weeks

Maternity clothes? I’m wearing half regular and half maternity tops, but still 100% maternity bottoms.

Stretch marks? Still moisturizing and still luckily stretch mark-free!

Sleep: I have no problem falling asleep, but the little bundle of joy has started kicking and pushing on mommy’s bladder around 3:00am these days.  I find it difficult to fall back asleep, so I’ve been getting more reading done in those wee hours of the morning.

Workouts: Four or Five days of walking and two days of strength training.  I’m still feeling really good with my routine.

Best moment the week: Monday was my birthday and my 4-week appointment.  My doctor said the baby’s heartbeat sounds great I’m all set for my next and last 4-week appointment before moving to 2-week appointments.  Time is flying!

Food cravings: Nothing out of the usual.  I’m still all about the salty foods.

Labour signs: No!

Symptoms: Slightly swollen feet at the end of the work day and an ever-growing bump.

Belly button in or out? Still an innie despite the belly growth.

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Baby Stuff: One of my birthday gifts was another addition to the Baby Ferrari Library

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy and tired

Looking forward to: Two weeks of Holiday break that starts on Friday!!
