Yesterday I ordered my University of Cincinnati diploma frame:
This is just the stock photo; my diploma won’t be here for another three weeks. It usually takes six weeks for graduation audits to be completed, verifying that all twenty-four of my credits have been dutifully earned. In the meantime, in between finding just the right wall space for my diploma and wrapping up my own classroom in a few weeks, I have also received a very thoughtful and fitting gift from my dear husband, Dan:
Yes, my “teacher name” has been engraved on the wooden pen *barrel.
My mom and dad bought my a beautiful necklace and earring set, unfortunately my selfie skills are at level -12, so this is the best I could do.
P.S. this is the outfit I wore for my formal observation on Monday.
Yea, I know that you don’t take selfies in the mirror, but I am quite proud that I don’t take enough to know the proper stance.
I absolutely love my gifts and I’m quite proud of my accomplishment. It’s been a long time in the making and I am so grateful for all the support that my family has offered during my three long years of study.
*Yes, I did look up the official name for this part of a pen; that’s the level of dedication to you, my beloved subscriber.
