Maybe it’s because the weekend is only a day away, and this specific one marks my parents’ arrival from Michigan, but I had a much easier time dealing with and sorting through those irksome moments of my day. Yesterday I identified three questions that help me to weigh out the importance of my negative reactions:
1. Is this situation/problem/person worth giving away my power – AKA my Joy?
2. Will this be a problem in 5 minutes? 5 hours? 5 days? 5 weeks?
3. What will be the results of my down-turned mood/negative reaction?
By keeping these in mind as I traveled through my day, I found that it was easier to respond in ways that kept my head level and my heart light.
In other awesome news, I can now announce that my husband and I are going to be traveling to Turkey for our Spring Break trip!!!
We are going to be traveling all throughout the country, but our major stops will be Istanbul, Izmir, and Kayseri.
