Marilyn Monroe and a Masterpiece

If you’re an educator, you know that magical feeling when a student reaches out to you with a desire to share something so personal to them.  They may be seeking approval or simply the acknowledgment that you think they’re talented.  Just such an event happened to me on Saturday when a student shared a video he created of himself painting a portrait of Marilyn Monroe.  It moved me to tears for so many reasons, and I wanted to share his talents with as many people as possible.  Please, enjoy.
