Hi All! I received this email from Jorden Albright, the person who has been doing an amazing effort in helping to save the site Picnik. Please read and “like” the Save-Picnik Facebook page and sign the petition.
The petition has over 3,500 signatures now, and that’s awesome! But I bet we could do so much better. I know the feeling that some of you might have that says, “I signed the petition and I’ve done my part. That’s all that’s required to save Picnik.” And you’re partially right. You’ve helped a lot just by signing. Thanks.
But that’s just a drop in the bucket.
Recently, a lot of you have been emailing, tweeting (@savingpicnik), and contacting important people as was addressed in the last email. That’s incredible, and I thank you. We’ve also been directing most of our tweets @TheEllenShow and @Google so that we can have focal points. Some of you have said that you don’t have Twitter accounts, and that’s okay. Call or do whatever works for you!
The Facebook page now has over 800 likes, and only about thirty people of the number of likes haven’t been sharing and reposting and all that jazz. Completely fine. By the way, here’s the link to the page for those who haven’t visited it yet.
Again, let’s just try to contact any important people that we may know. It really helps; even small mentions in blogs or on radio shows. Online, sharing is caring. Two months are left until the termination. Do you guys think we can do this? I hope so. Let’s blow Google’s phones off the hook.
