What I Had to Say Last Week:
Another Monday is here and I will be taking this opportunity to get back on track, as far as half-marathon training is concerned. As you know, I am on the mend from a week of the absolute YUCKS! This past week, I tried my very best to stay on the same workout routine, but maybe didn’t log as many miles. And that’s ok; you’ve got to listen to your body to ensure that you’ll be well enough to run another day. Now that I’m feeling more myself, I want to focus on the love of the run. I felt a runner’s high more so when I followed a scripted plan, so I’ll be using Hal Higdon’s Half Marathon Training Schedule, just as I did this past fall. (Did I actually run in a half marathon? No, but I did run 13.1 miles on my tready mill, so the training paid off.)
Question of the Day: Do you work better, or more efficiently, when working from a list or schedule? Do you prefer to accomplish tasks this way?
