Good morning, all!
I think that I am over the trauma of yesterday’s post. If you didn’t read it, it’s nothing you want to read before drinking a tall glass of apple juice.
Ready to move forward and continue onward towards my 5k goals, I trekked back to our
urinal workout room, fully intent on running my 3 miles and hitting the weights.
Today I decided to switch up my playlist for my 3 mile runs. I’ve heard that waiting until you’re rounding the corner and heading towards home to listen to music, it helps bring out that last little bit of energy you’ve got in the reserve tanks. I have two, sure-fire songs on the playlist that
I dance to in my bedroom pump me up, so I saved them for my last mile: Right Round and All the Single Ladies from the Biggest Loser Workout.
Today’s results 3 miles at an average of 9:00 pace.
When I got home, I had some business to take care of, so I didn’t have enough time for a bowl of oatmeal. Instead I loaded up on this little treat:
I added some Almond Butter and Chia Seeds to wheat toast. I didn’t think that would be enough to keep me satisfied throughout the morning, so I gave my breakfast a zip of banana mush.
