Happy Wednesday! I have been away from the blog-o-sphere for the past three days, chaperoning the History Fair field trip to Tallahassee. Sadly, none of our students are going onto Nationals, but I am quite proud of all of them for making it to the State level.
The good part about returning home after an extended trip is that there is a pile of mail waiting for you. Because I have all of my bills emailed to me, I can honestly look forward to snail mail. There were three awesome things waiting for me when inside our modest mailbox.
1. Netflix: The Perks of Being a Wallflower

I have already seen this film in the theater, but I loved it so much that it inspired me to reread the novel. Now that I have been refreshed, I am eager to watch the movie again.
2. The Lady of the Rivers by Philippa Gregory.

After completing The Kingmaker’s Daughter, I knew that I would have to complete the series. After Googling “The Cousins’ War,” the recommendation was that I should read The Lady of the Rivers first because the events occur chronologically first despite the book being #3 in the series. After rediscovering my love of novels over Kindle texts, I ordered used copies of the remaining books in the Cousins War series, and The Lady of the Rivers finally arrived.
3. I have had my eye on a necklace set sold on Etsy by The Literary Charm.

After debating about spending the money and if this necklace was the equivalent of an elementary teacher wearing holiday-inspired jewelry, I decided to order the set.

I am absolutely in love with this necklace set! Because there is another book cover on the other side of each pendent, it’s like you’re doubling your money, or at least that’s how I justified it to my husband.

Of course my favorite is The Fault in Our Stars, but I’ll be showing off all titles!
A few weeks ago, I took a plunge for my online writing career and applied to be a guest blogger at the Nerdy Book Club. I was asked to submit a few article ideas, and I am very pleased to report that one was accepted! Below is the link for my guest post entitled “Top Ten Books I Wish I Could ReRead for the First Time.”
The reason why I applied to Nerdy Book Club was because I am an avid follower of their blog, and any opportunity to be associated with them is something I would always welcome.
