Good afternoon, Fancy Oatmeal readers!
I apologize for not having anything too wild or zany to report back to you today. My life pretty much undulates between waves of Master’s degree homework or preparing for the upcoming class load at work. I do feel at times that my candle is being singed at both ends, but I do not want to turn this post into a diatribe. I tried to remove something from my daily schedule: work, blogging, classwork, running, act, but none of these things are expendable. I will not cower from my responsibilities, but face them with a confident gait. My life will not be defined by my to-do list; I am more resilient than this and will not become stagnate in my desire to consistently improve my quality of life. Don’t consider me so valiant yet; I will comply with the requirements of my responsibilities, but then again I do not correlate “work” with my career.
WTF is up with all these underlined word? I am peering over the top of my MacBook Pro at the Word Wall that houses the various vocabulary lists that my students are currently studying and adding into their daily language, or so I hope.
It’s inspiring me to attempt to use as many as I can in my own world of expression, verbal and bloggery.
I spent some time last night review some of my older blog posts, and which ones you the readers found to be most interesting, based solely on the number of hits that they received. Is it sad that I am jealous of my own blog entries for getting hit on more than me???
Anyways, I thought I would repost the links to the top five most popular blog entries from Fancy Oatmeal for your (re)viewing pleasure:
5. Half Marathon Training Schedule
1. I’m a Bearcat Baby, So Call me Fancy Oatmeal
I truly hope you enjoyed that trip down memory lane as much as I did.

Indeed I did, and love the vocab!
I used to have one of those word-a-day calendars, but I like the list to choose from.
